Why We Limit Group Sizes (And Always Will)

There’s a moment on every tour when it becomes clear why group size matters.

It might be a mountain pass where everyone finds their own pace without pressure. Or a lunch stop that doesn’t feel rushed. Or simply the way conversations flow easily, without anyone feeling lost in the background.

In 2025, riding in smaller groups proved its value again and again. It allows us to adapt. To slow things down when needed. To keep things moving when the road opens up. To notice when someone’s having an off day and quietly adjust around them.

Large groups can look impressive in photos, but they come with trade-offs. More waiting. More rigidity. Less space to ride naturally.

Our approach has always been different. We’d rather run tours that feel relaxed, personal, and considered, even if that means keeping numbers limited.

For 2026, that won’t change. If anything, we’ve leaned into it more. Because when riders feel comfortable, everything else falls into place.
