Guided vs Self-Guided Alpine Tours: How to Choose What’s Right for You

There is no “better” option, only the right one for the rider.

Guided tours remove friction. Routes, hotels, timing, and local knowledge are all managed, allowing riders to focus solely on the ride and experience.

Self-guided tours offer independence. The same carefully planned routes, but with the freedom to ride at your own pace and make your own daily decisions.

In 2025, we saw riders thrive in both formats. For 2026, we’ve refined each option so the experience matches the intent. Clear guidance where needed. Freedom where it matters.

Choosing between them is less about skill level and more about how you want your time in the Alps to feel.

Update on guided tours for 2026

Guided tours have been cancelled for 2026. Self-guided tours are still available, giving you the freedom to explore at your own pace. We are looking ahead to 2027 and hope to welcome visitors back for guided tours then. Thank you for your understanding.
