This 16-day adventure takes you through the heart of Europe, combining the sweeping roads of France and Germany with the majestic passes of Switzerland and the dramatic beauty of the Italian Dolomites. From the fortress town of Sedan to the high Alpine passes and finishing with the lights of Nancy, this tour is designed for riders who want the perfect mix of culture, scenery, and unforgettable roads.
Tour Summary
The journey begins in Sedan, France, where riders gather at the Château Fort to settle in and enjoy a relaxed evening meal together. From here, we cross into Germany to ride the legendary Black Forest’s B500, before heading into Switzerland for a five-night stay in Obergoms, perfectly placed to tackle some of the most famous Alpine passes.
The road then carries us south over the Albula Pass into Italy for five nights in Campitello di Fassa, the heart of the Dolomites. Here, we ride legendary routes such as Sella, Gardena, Pordoi, Giau, and San Boldo, with optional excursions to Lake Garda. The return leg takes us through Bormio and the mighty Stelvio Pass, across into Austria, and then back into Switzerland before the tour’s finale in Nancy, France.
Road Summary
France & Germany: Start at Château Fort Sedan, rolling east to the Black Forest via Baden-Baden and Oppenau, riding the world-famous B500.
Switzerland (Obergoms base): Five nights with daily ride-outs over the Grimsel, Furka, Gotthard, Susten, and Nufenen passes, plus routes through Interlaken, Brig, Locarno, and stunning lakeside towns. A free day allows time for world-class attractions such as the Jungfrau Railway, Schilthorn 007 restaurant, or the valley of waterfalls at Lauterbrunnen.
Italy (Dolomites base): Five nights in Campitello di Fassa, exploring jaw-dropping Dolomite roads including Sella, Gardena, Campolongo, Pordoi, Rolle, San Boldo, Giau, Tre Croci, and Fedaia. Optional ride to Lake Garda or a rest day in the stunning Dolomite valleys.
Return Journey: Leave Campitello for Bormio via Tonale and Gavia, then continue to Walenstadt via the Stelvio Pass, Brenner Pass, and Timmelsjoch. The final leg takes us to Nancy, with time to enjoy the spectacular evening light show in its historic square before returning home.
The evening is spent with a relaxed dinner, giving everyone the chance to meet fellow riders and settle into the adventure ahead.

Along the way, via lake Lucene and Lake Zurich: The roads are very different – Furka Pass is a beautiful mountain road in Switzerland. featuring picturesque views and winding turns. Furka Pass, known for its dramatic hairpin bends, links Gletsch and Andermatt, offering stunning landscapes and panoramic views, including the Rhone Glacier. Both passes provide memorable experiences in the Swiss Alps.
Today, we’ll loop ride the stunning Swiss High Passes, including Gotthard Pass, Susten Pass, Grimsel Pass, Oberalp Pass, and Nufenen Pass.
A ride from Obergoms to Interlaken and back via Giswil, Schrattenfluh, Thun, and alpine passes offers a breathtaking journey through rugged mountains, scenic lakes, and picturesque Swiss landscapes.
A ride from Brig to Varzo and Lake Locarno takes you through the majestic Swiss and Italian Alps, starting with a descent from Brig into the Rhone Valley. Crossing into Italy at Varzo, you encounter the scenic Valle Divedro, a quiet, lush valley surrounded by towering peaks. As you head towards Lake Locarno, the landscape transitions to Mediterranean-like scenery, with the serene lake nestled among palm trees and mountains. This route combines alpine beauty with the charm of Italian lakeside towns, offering a mix of challenging climbs and relaxing stretches by the water.
Our Free Ride Day is all about choice and adventure! Whether you're up for a thrilling journey or a relaxed exploration, there's something for everyone. You can hop on the Eiger Express Railway and marvel at the iconic North Face of the Eiger, or take the breathtaking Schilthorn Cable Car up to the famous summit, where the 007 Museum and restaurant await, offering Bond-worthy views and experiences. For a more scientific twist, you can ride the Jungfrau Railway to the Research Centre, perched high above the clouds. Prefer nature’s wonders? Discover the stunning Lauterbrunnen waterfall, cascading through a picturesque valley. For those seeking a bit of adrenaline, head to the Aspi-Titter suspension bridge and brave the Tasliga tunnel, an exhilarating way to enjoy Switzerland’s dramatic landscape. From Bormio, embark on a thrilling ride up the iconic Stelvio Pass, renowned for its challenging hairpin bends and breathtaking alpine views. Continue through the Brenner Pass, where you'll traverse the scenic route connecting Italy and Austria, surrounded by stunning mountain landscapes. Next, tackle the Timmelsjoch Pass, a high mountain pass with dramatic vistas and winding roads. Your journey concludes by riding to the picturesque town of Walenstadt, offering a peaceful lakeside setting with majestic mountain backdrops. This route blends adventure, natural beauty, and unforgettable alpine experiences.
This is one of the true highlights of the tour and a day that will stay with you long after the ride is over. We leave Bormio climbing straight into the legendary Stelvio Pass, with its dramatic switchbacks and towering Alpine walls. At the summit, there’s time for a photo stop and perhaps a famous Stelvio sausage before descending the northern slopes.
From here, the route flows across into Austria, riding the Brenner Pass, a historic crossing linking Italy with the Austrian Tyrol, before tackling the spectacular Timmelsjoch Pass. Known as the “secret jewel of the Alps,” Timmelsjoch is less crowded than Stelvio but just as breathtaking, offering sweeping curves, open valleys, and views that feel endless.
The day finishes in Walenstadt, Switzerland, nestled by Lake Walen. After the intensity of the passes, this peaceful lakeside town makes the perfect place to relax, reflect, and share stories of a day spent conquering some of the most iconic motorcycling roads in the world.
Begin your journey from Walenstadt, riding through the serene Swiss countryside. As you approach the Vorges Mountains, enjoy the scenic beauty and winding roads that lead you through charming villages and lush landscapes. Continue your ride into France, where the route takes you through picturesque valleys and rolling hills. Arrive in Nancy in the evening, and experience the city's vibrant atmosphere. Stroll through the charming city center, with its historic buildings, lively squares, and inviting cafes. Enjoy a wonderful light dinner in one of Nancy's renowned restaurants, soaking in the ambiance of this beautiful city. This is the perfect way to wrap up your epic adventure, marking the end of a tour filled with breathtaking scenery, thrilling rides, and unforgettable experiences.
